My Journey

Shortly before his 6th birthday, Aaron developed a serious breathing problem that triggered the release of his soul from his body. This Near-Death Experience (NDE) permanently altered his understandings of life, death, and the soul’s eternal journey. During this NDE, Aaron underwent a complete life review where he re-experienced every thought, feeling, and action from his life. Not only did this life review include his own feelings, but with startling intimacy he could feel the emotional impact his actions had caused in others.

Aaron re-experienced his spiritual beginning as a new soul with God where he received an explanation of why souls benefit from coming to this physical realm as well as our ultimate destination. He was shown his journey to Earth and snippets from numerous past lives. Aaron was shown how his decisions during past lives play a direct role in what he would experience during his upcoming life. He was granted the ability to approve or disapprove various plans for his upcoming life. He was able to retain the memory of selecting his parents, body, name, and numerous other details and plans regarding his current life.

His NDE gave him pre-life memories that reveal deep insight into the life planning process. He was shown in detail how the decisions we make in one life create the framework for subsequent lives. Aaron was able to remember the process of choosing his parents, his body, and making plans for his current life. He explains why and how he picked his current body and many of the circumstances of his current life. His detailed memory of the pre-life planning process provides profound insight into what happens with our souls prior to coming to Earth and between lives. In addition, Aaron was shown some of the spiritual realms that were his home between previous lives. He has memories of hellish and heavenly realms and what he experienced in these different realms.

While all of us have been through these same sorts of experiences prior to life, Aaron remembers some of those experiences. He is now able to share the process that souls go through. What makes Aaron’s experience uniquely remarkable is the sheer scope of what he was shown. The clear, detailed descriptions of our spiritual birth, pre-life planning process, and existence between realms shed new light on our spiritual journey. Aaron has shared his experience in over 50 interviews and has written a book about his experience titled Emerging from the Light.

Aaron believes this knowledge carries real, practical value. Understanding the soul’s journey and how one life plants the seeds for future lives as well as our spiritual happiness gives us the power to make wiser more intentional choices right now. By understanding the system we are all part of we can set ourselves up for less overall suffering, easier lives in the future, and a happier existence in the spiritual realms.

Aaron lives in Virginia in the USA and is married with 3 adult children. He obtained a degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech. Aaron works as a professional engineer at Newport News Shipbuilding. He worked on the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier program for 24 years and currently works on the design of a new class of submarines. He enjoys science, chemistry, astronomy, history, and travel.
